The 2014 Toyota Highlander “has room for everything but not for boring” as the Muppets commercial says. And we’ll have to agree on that after seeing how many features the new model comes with.
Another interesting feature on the new Highlander is represented by the height adjustable lift gate with memory found on the higher grade models.
It works as a normal electric-operated lift gate but you can set its opening amount so it won’t hit the ceiling of a low-ceiling underground parking or garage.
All you need to do is open the gate and stop it at the desired angle by pressing the button located on it. Then press the button again until you hear four beeps. Next time you open it, the lift gate will maintain the position. Easy peasy!
