The Boxster used to be a cheap-ish car. It saved Porsche from the brink of collapse and thus allowed them to evolve into the global giant they are today.
But the humble convertible has shed its old skin and became a completely different sort of machine. The 2014 model is wider, longer and lover. It's not what you'd describe as cheap either, with a base price higher than a Corvette in this S spec.
But because it's so improve, it's easier to take it seriously when it wants to take on a different persona. This white 2014 Boxster S would look like a wedding car were it not for the cherry red painted trim pieces. The stand-out feature on the car is of course the new Vellano Mono wheels fitted by Ultimate Auto from Orlando, Florida.
They show there are very real alternatives to the often very expensive Porsche options, which charge you extra for trick wheels ad more again if you want them in the same color as the body of the car.
