Porsche is looking to tackle the 2013 World Endurance Championship with their updated 911 RSR racecar, which was unveiled late last month together with the German automaker’s six factory drivers.
Although it comes with the same 460 HP 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, the new 911 RSR features a longer wheelbase, a lighter paddle shifter-operated six-speed sequential transmission as well as a new wishbone front suspension.
As we already told you two weeks ago, Porsche will field two teams in the 2013 World Endurance Championship, driven by Marc Lieb, Richard Lietz and Romain Dumas, and Joerg Bergmeister, Patrick Long and Timo Bernhard respectively.
