Mercedes Benz has just released the first (interior) photos detailing the next S-Class limo, and already it's been spotted testing in China. Long wheelbase sedans are very popular with the country's rich and famous, so much so that the S-Class was first rumored to debut next month in Shanghai.
Instead, Mercedes chose to she it on May 15 at a private even in Germany, with the Chinese debut reportedly scheduled for September. Either way, the new S-Class has begun testing in China, as proven by this partially camouflaged prototype spotted there.

Hiding behind that camouflage is what we consider one of the most stylish and refined designed Mercedes has done in a long time. If you'd like to study that in detail before a single official photo is released, we have spy photos of the W222 S-Class completely undisguised during a photo shoot.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
