Revelare Design has announced the introduction of their Rev 1 Hood for the 2013-2014 Ford Mustang. Unveiled at the 2012 SEMA Show, the new hood can be ordered as we speak for $725 plus shipping.
The hood features a 2-inch cowl that allows for more room in the engine bay but retains the stock vents that help reduce temperature. The cowl was also fitted with two openings at the back to provide better cooling by letting the hot air exit the engine bay.
“Designed to help reduce underhood temperatures and enhance the exterior styling of 2013-14 Mustangs, the Rev 1 hood toughens up the front end for an aggressive yet refined look. Following the factory lines, the Rev 1 hood features a 2 inch cowl and smooth gelcoat finish on the top and underside,” Revelare says in a statement.
The new Rev 1 Hood can be fitted on 2013-2014 Ford Mustangs and on 2010-2014 Shelby GT500s. In case you missed it, the 2013-2014 Mustang gained a new hood from Cervinis as well.
