The party continues for the Fiesta subcompact! Introduced at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2014 Fiesta comes packed with goodies, and also featuring a brand new face. The bigger grille has been grafted higher onto the nose of the car and looks good, promising more upmakret design that has not been seen in this segment.
The changes gives the Fiesta the Aston Martin face that has been criticized and liked in equal measure on the Fusion and Escape.
Hiding under the bonnet is a new 1-liter turbo engine, which thanks to the magic of EcoBoost is actually more powerful than the 1.6-liter base engine offered in this subcompact sedan. Expect 40 mpg or more when it gets its EPA sticker. Also new is the MyFord touch screen, which for 2014 is 6.5 inches.
“Customers want cars that are expressive and fun while offering class-leading fuel economy,” says Mark Fields, Ford president of The Americas. “Fiesta delivers all the excitement drivers are looking for in a car we believe will raise the bar even higher for small cars in North America.
