Chevy is making efforts to turn the Impala into a vehicle that manages to offer more than just A to B transportation, with the company announcing its intentions to offer a vehicle that should managed to convince more customers than its predecessors did.
The company has released various bits of info for the 2014 Impala but now it seems like the vehicle will have to do without a feature that becomes more and more important in its class: all-wheel drive.
The Impala will share the GM Epsilon platform with the Cadillac XTS and the Buick LaCrosse, with the last two offering all-wheel drive, but, according to GMInsideNews, Chevy has no intention to gift the next Imapla with such a feature.
The company went as far as explaining that all-wheel drive isn’t a popular choice in the full-size car segment, contradicting the sales figures, which show that this is gaining more popularity day by day.
