BMW has just unveiled the third generation of its X5 SUV, visibly bigger, newer and more luxurious than ever before.
From the front, new design language shared with the 3 Series is evident. The headlights are larger and are connected to the big kidney grilles . For the first time on an X5, the bonnet opens without the grille,its edge giving a more muscular look as a result. Round, Nissan Juke style fog lights and Air Curtain blades round up the look of the F15 X5.
From start, there will be three engine options available, a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six for the X5 xDrive35i and the first rear-wheel drive version called the sDrive35i, a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 making 450 hp in the X5 xDrive50i and a 3-liter diesel for the xDrive35d. Later on, the first four-cylinder engine will be offer in the form of the X5 xDrive25d.
