So not only is it cheaper than a 105 hp diesel version of the car, but it’s also faster. Economy isn’t bad either, nor are emissions. If you’re going to get a basic A3 company car and don’t want it to be boring, this is the one to get.
Launched in 2013, the A3 dynamic compact sedan features a cross design between the classic three-box and a coupe. This means it’s kind of crammed in the back. The upside is that it’s one of the most interesting A3 models ever made, especially from the back.
Mechanically, this car is superior to the VW Golf and Skoda Octavia, both of which are based on the same platform. At the front, it has a MacPherson suspension joined to an aluminum subframe, while at the back, a four-link suspension with steel crossmember and separate mounted springs and shock has been fitted. That’s right, all A3 come with independent rear suspension, unlike their sister cars from other brands.
The electronic stabilization system includes an electronic differential lock, that slightly brakes the inside front wheel in a corner to minimize understeering.
