Lightweight, swiftness, maneuverability. These are the prerequisites for a dirt racing bike, just before you start asking yourself whether you're a champ or not.
The 2013 Yamaha YZ250 looks like one of the nicest machines if you plan to test your riding skills on the dirt track. It packs a nifty super-light aluminium frame holding a 249cc 20troke engine with liquid cooling and reed-valve-induction. The bike is race-ready straight form the crate: aluminum handlebars, titanium footpegs, gripper seat and Excell rims, they're all there for you.

The KYB suspension is fully-adjustable for the optimal setup with each rider and the Speed-Sensitive System adjusts the damping constantly for precise handling and smooth riding, as smooth as dirt racing can be.

Yamaha has paid a lot of attention to the 2013 YZ250, and light materials have been put to work: the bike comes with a wet weight of 227 lbs (less than 103 kg), furthermore enhancing handling and fast cornering. The YZ250 comes in Team Yamaha Blue/White colors an retails for $7,150 (€5,590).
