The "Dark" 2013 Triumph Speed Triple R will be limited to a minuscule series of only 30 bikes. Triumph and custom British workshop 8 Ball have come up with a darkened, menacing version of the Spreed Triple R, but it seems like only few lucky riders will be able to bet one of these evil street bikes.
The bikes come in a satin black finish with red trimming and airbrushed accents: they're more a matter of style than a matter of chopping and welding, so if you're looking for a heavily modified machine, then the 2013 Triumph Speed Triple R “Dark” isn't the right one.
If you however, decide to go for the Dark Triumph, you get a matching color belly pan and mini windscreen, with carbon fiber trimming, serial number and an "R 1050" logo. We totally loved the weathered Union Jack flag airbrushed on the tank as it brings a bit of a vintage bike-building to this street prowler. The 2013 Triumph Speed Triple R “Dark” retails for $17,610 (€13,175).
