While the purpose of this piece is not to have Harley-Davidson and Star Motorcycles fans starting up internet flames and mocking eachother's bikes, we all should be true and admit the 2013 Star Stryker is a worthy rival for the H-D.
The Stryker sports an elongated design, with streamlined , flowing architecture, a rather iconic representation of the 21st century modern chopper. The low-seat and 1304cc V-Twin are also traditional features of the chopper heritage, while the wheels speak for themselves: a large 21” front one complements the 210mm-wide rear tire, both with metal fenders, as thew Stryker has no room for plastic.
In either lush chrome details or blackened commanding dark tones, the 2013 Star Stryker sports a clean look with hidden tubing and wires. The cast rims match the fat headlight and massive 1” (24mm) pulled back handlebars for a compact and at the same time sleek look.
Add in a 5-speed gearbox, the belt drive final transmission for this 646 lbs (292 kg) bike coming in Candy Red, Pearl White or Raven and there you go, your 2013 Star Stryker for $11,590 (€9,095).
