Yamaha Racing Team riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi have different plans for their racing in Assen this weekend.
Despite the high expectations for a blasting comeback from the 9-times world champion Valentino Rossi, now on Yamaha machinery once more, it looks like the Doctor is still struggling to set up his M1 according to his style and is looking for more tweaks to help him be faster.

However, Rossi seems happy with the improvements his team managed to achieve during the tests in Aragon, last week. The Italian declared he now has a better feel of the bike, especially when braking. At the same time, the Doctor is eager to see whether the positive feeling of the new setup is maintained on the Dutch track and he said he'll try to qualify in a better position.

On the other hand, his team mate and reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo, is feeling extremely confident ahead of the race in the Netherlands. Having won the past two rounds (at Mugello and Barcelona) and heading for his favorite track, Lorenzo is determined to catch Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa in the provisional standings.

Lorenzo also adds that the settings used in the last two MotoGP rounds proved that the M1 machinery can achieve a consistent race page, and are a very good basis for future improvements.

The next round in MotoGP is this weekend in Assen, the Netherlands. Ahead of the Dutch round, Pedrosa is in the lead, followed by Lorenzo who is 7 points behind. Marquez sits in third, Crutchlow is fourth and Rossi completes the top 5.
