Hyundai recently used Twitter to tell the world that the 2013 Elantra GT will come with a starting price of $18,395, with this not including the destination charge, which hasn’t been mentioned so far.
The 2013 model year will see the Elantra sedan and GT being joined by a two-door coupe, thanks to the fact that the automaker wants to appeal to as many customers as possible. For now, no details about the coupe are available, but we’re waiting for Hyundai to release this soon.

The vehicle comes with a list of standard safety features that includes: ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ABS (anti-lock braking system) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist and VSM (Vehicle Stability Management). In terms of passive safety, the Elantra GT will be fitted with seven airbags as standard - front, side and curtain including an Elantra-first driver's knee airbag.
