If you want a reasonably priced, fairly reliable five-door supermini with good economy, you're basically spoiled for choice right now. This means that your local dealer will have to fight harder to get you to sign that 5-year lease.
Reliability and economy are always going to be a part of the equation, but looks are just as impotent, especially when you're a French company know for thinking outside the box. A lot of people said the Citroen C3 was a pretty car, but we never enjoyed looking at it quite as much as we do the DS3.
The lines were too soft, like it didn't want to offend anybody. Thankfully, a fresh look has been bestowed upon the French supermini, one that we quite like.
We're supposed to see the new C3 as having revised head and taillights, front/rear bumpers, LED daytime runners and chrome detailing, but actually, the changes aren't that big once we looked more closely at the car in this video. The headlights and foglights are pretty much the same. Just take a look at the photo of the old model at the bottom of the story.
What has changed is the grille and the badge, both having become more masculine, like the ones on the bigger C4. It's a move that seems remarkably similar to what VW did when it made the Polo look like a Golf.
