Ever since its first release, back in the 1980s, the BMW 3 Series Cabriolet was one of the best selling models in the history of the Bavarian manufacturer. The guys from Auto123.com summed up a review of the E93 3er with some tips in case you wanted a Convertible for the summer time.
The current convertible is going out of production this year, ending an era. This version will be the last Convertible 3er, being replaced by a completely 4 Series starting with 2014.

However, while it's still available, you can get the E93 is various models. If your on American soil, there are 3 choices: the 328i, 335i and the 335is. All of them are powered by the same 3-liter inline-6 engine that was tuned to deliver different amounts of power.

The 328i comes in first with 230 HP and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque, the 335i comes second with 306 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, whilst the 335is is the most powerful one with 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

With prices starting at $47,600 (€36,400) for the 328i, $53,800 (€41,100) for the 335i and $60,800 (€46,500) you'll notice that there are options for everyone. All moles are rear-wheel-drive and all come with 4 seats, a hard-top that opens and closes at the touch of a button and standard 6-speed manual gearboxes. Standard safety equipment includes advanced antilock brakes, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a high-performance lighting system.

You should consider getting the 3er Cabrio if you're looking for pedigree, performance and premium quality. Also, it is recommended to go with the 335i version for the extra power and incredible engine performances.
