Audi is paving the way for the US arrival of the 2013 RS5, which is scheduled for this spring, with the automotive producer now releasing a video of the go-fast coupe. The clip not only brings us scenes with the RS5 flying low through the desert, but also comes with a sweet soundtrack, provided by the car’s 4.2-liter V8.
The naturally-aspirated unit allows the driver to play with 450 hp and works with a seven-speed S-Tronic dual clutch gearbox and a quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi hasn’t released the pricing for the 2013 RS5 so far, but we do know that the vehicle will arrive in the US in limited number, which means that you won’t just buy performance but also exclusivity. Maybe not all American RS5 customers know what the German Power War can do for them, but they're going to find out pretty soon.
