Audi’s allroad quattro family might not be the most exciting thing in Ingolstadt, but it does have its fair share of fans. The most recent two cars are quite impressive, and they are also brand new. There’s the A6 allroad quattro extends the range of uses for the A6 Avant, and also the A4 version that’s a bit more compact.
But what do you do if you want your compact hatchback to help you when the asphalt ends? The new A3 Sportsback is a versatile little machine, lighter and nimbler than before. So it doesn’t mind that you add plastic armor to its body.

Starting with the body of the A3 Sportback, Theophilus Chin created these renderings of what the five-door would look like if it were to become the A3 allroad quattro. As usual, the corners of the body are protected by dark gray plastic armor, from the bumpers, to the arches and sills. Metal shields protect the front and rear drivetrains, and the ground clearance is increased.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
