There used to be a hand when you had to build every new part by hand if you wanted a custom ride. But nowadays, you just order it from a parts catalog, and not even the painting process is sacred, as wrapping is taking over.
But there are some that still value the hours spent with the airbrush in hand, toiling over a hood that needs to be flamed. We were very pleasantly surprised to find this 2011 Chevy Camaro 2SS done by The Custom Show at the SEMA Show this year. It’s the automotive equivalent of art, combining bolts of vivid color with red-on-black flames and a perfectly executed skeleton on the hood.

Custom touches include a Procharger supercharger for the V8, Holly fuel injectors, Crane camshaft. The hood is a custom element from RK Sports, and the one-piece grille is by Phantom.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
