Just when we thought this would be just another boring Monday we found out about a recall from Porsche that wants to address quite a serious issue.
According to the official announcement, a total of 1,232 units of the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S, yes the new one with 400 hp, will have to be recalled due to a potential issue that could result in a fuel line failure.

Because of interference between a coolant line and a fuel line, the latter can become disconnected. This poses multiple risks, including the obvious potential for a fire to occur.

The recall affects 1,232 units, built between October 26th, 2011 through January 24, 2012 and will begin this April. It should be pretty obvious if your car is a brand new Porsche Carrera S, but if you have questions you can contract Porsche at 1-800-767-7243 for more information on the recall and to schedule an appointment and have the fuel line fixed.
