Probably the most interesting and marketable vehicle that Jeep has to offer to European customers, the brand new Grand Cherokee, has already been available in Britain since the summer, but two more extreme versions are about to join the lineup - the SRT8 and the Overland Summit.
The pair of sporty SUV are already available in Britain, and full pricing has been announced, with the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 starting at GBP58,995, while the luxury oriented Overland Summit sets you back GBP44,795.
The impressive Grand Cherokee SRT8 packs a mighty 6.4-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 470 HP and 465 lb-ft. The UK model is capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 160 mph.
Meanwhile, the the Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD Overland Summit version is powered by a 3.0-liter diesel with 237 horsepower. But this car is all about its cool interior, featuring ventilated seats covered in Nappa leather.
