2012 Honda Pilot Coming in September

When looking at the official photo and info released by the Japanese manufacturer we came to see that there was nothing out of the ordinary regarding the 2012 Honda Pilot. So far it looks just like a car suited for drivers who like their vehicles plain and average looking. Regarding its legacy as a reliable family car that can easily transport up to eight people and their luggage it is not such a bad car after all.

The exterior has transformations that are more plain looking than the previous model. The 2012 Honda Pilot has received a new redesigned fascia which doesn’t has anything to do with the previous sci-fi inspired version. The eye-catching fascia that highlighted the previous model is quite subtle, being replaced with a rather dull one.

The lower edge and fog lights have been redesigned giving it a more compact look. The manufacturer ensures customers that the new Honda Pilot’s fuel consumption will be improved, thanks to a six-speed automatic transmission which replaces the earlier model’s five gear unit.A real improvement has been made at the Pilot’s interior with persisting touches towards navigation and audio system.

The interior upgrade in matter of sat-nav and audio was pretty much needed considering the “vintage” nav systems and radio units that were previously installed. The manufacturer has “refreshed” the new Pilot with some new paint color options and a new wheel design, apart from that things remain just about the same as on the previous model. The new Honda Pilot is expected to hit the showrooms in September.
