2012 BMW M5 Included to Forza Motorsport 4 LCE

As we patiently await for the 2012 BMW M5 to hit the streets, Microsoft and Turn 10 have today announced the Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Collector's Edition will bundle 25 extra cars including the exclusive bimmer, which allows users to take a virtual test drive. To be added to the game's Autovista mode, the 2012 M5 will also feature on the Limited Edition steelbook cover.

There will also be a 'BMW Design Challenge' kicking off, giving talented artists the chance to create a unique design for the 2010 BMW M6 Coupe. The winning design will be recreated in the game and will be available alongside the following BMW models: 2008 BMW M3 E92, 2008 BMW Z4 M Coupe, 1981 BMW M1, and the aforementioned 2012 BMW M5, which comes with a 10 percent increase in the power output and 30 percent less in fuel consumption than compared to the previous version.

“At BMW we are thrilled to offer fans the first chance, whether it’s in game or on the road, to experience the brand new BMW M5 in ‘Forza Motorsport 4,’” said Ralf Hussmann, general manager BMW Sport marketing & Cooperation. “Forza Motorsport’ players are some of the most loyal and passionate automotive fans in the world, so the choice to partner with Turn 10 Studios to feature our car in the game and on the cover of the Limited Collector’s Edition was an obvious win for BMW. We invite fans everywhere to celebrate the new M5 debut in ‘Forza Motorsport 4’ on 14 October.”

Bundled together with a polished Steelbook DVD Case, the Limited Collector’s Edition content will include the following: a VIP Car Pack and a limited quantity Launch Bonus car pack.

The former will include the 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, 2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge, 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, 2010 Noble M600, and 2011 RUF Rt 12 R.
