BMW North America announced today official pricing information for the current two top gasoline engines that will debut at the 2012 North America International Auto Show in Detroit.
As you’ll probably know by now, the 3.0-liter straight-six in the old 328i has been replaced with a 2.0-liter turbo in the new one. That’s not the only thing that’s changed, since the base price has been increased from $34,600 to $35,775. This means that the features and extra sheetmetal of the F30 3-Series carries a $1,175 premium.
As for the most powerful engine in the 3-Series, the 335i, it gets a new starting price of $43,275 for the 2012 model year, which translates to a $1,225 increase.
Both will be offered with the new lines - Sport, Luxury and Modern - in addition to the M Sport Package.
