2012 BMW 3-Series F30 UK Pricing Announced

Late last week, BMW revealed the first details of the new 3-Series, the sixth generation in a line of executive cars that have sold 12 million units since 1975. The F30 version of the car brings with it a number of design changes, is packed with technology and has grown in length significantly.
The full UK pricing information and combined milage figures have been released as well for the car which will go on sale in the country starting February 2012. For now, only four engine options are available, with the full range to hit in the coming months.

The cheapest 3-Series in Britain will be the BMW 320d Saloon, which comes with a price tag of £28,080 and offers 184 hp in its regular form or 163 hp in the Efficient Dynamics, which does an amazing 68.9 mpg on the combined UK cycle.

As for the petrol range, this starts with the £29,060 for the 328i, which makes use of a new 2.0-liter turbocharged straight-four instead of the normally aspirated straight-six. This needs 44.1 miles to get through a gallon of fuel and the 245 horsepower engine also emits just 149 grams of CO2 per km.

At the top of the petrol range sits the 335i, which is powered by a 3.0-liter capable of delivering 306 hp for a 0 to 62 mph time of 5.5 seconds. This range-topping saloon will cost £35,525 when it arrives in Britain next year.

However, the press releases does mention a 316d version of the car as being the cheapest entry to the rage at £24,880.
