The new car smell hasn’t even had time to dry up, and already the brand new Mercedes Benz ML is suffering from its fair share of problems. A fault with the all-season floor mats of the 2012 and 2013 model year SUVs means they could cause the gas pedal to stick. It’s a problem that’s been paging the automotive industry for a while now!
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the faulty mats will sometimes not stick to the shape of the floor might interfere with the accelerator pedal. As a result of this, when the driver lifts his foot off the gas, the ML will not decelerate properly.

The recall will affect 8,675 units of the ML350, ML550 and ML63 AMG built for the 2012 and 2013 model years of the US market. No crashes were reported as a result of this defect.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
