2011 YES Roadster 3.2 Turbo Has License for Racing

The Germans at YES! (Young Engineers Sportscar) decided to set new standards with the launch of their Roadster 3.2 Turbo, a driving machine that relocates limits What is really interesting is that each YES! buyer gets an national A-license, for driving at racing circuits. During the 2-day-race training the driver gets a full instruction to drive safe with his own Roadster 3.2 Turbo.

The YES Roadster is powered by a 3.2 liter turbo engine developing 355 horsepower and 485 Nm (358 lb.ft.), and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and from 0-200 km/h in 10.9 seconds.However, if desired, additional performance increases are possible. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission.

An aluminum spaceframe reduces the weight to 1,090 kg (2,403 lbs). Each YES! is handmade, with construction of a single vehicle taking about 600 working hours.

Numerous configuration options concerning the technical equipment of your YES! are available in addition to the individual combination of leather, fabrics and paints. The new YES! owner has the chance to customize their vehicle to their personal needs before the production. Seat position, upholstery, steering column and pedals are adjusted accordingly in an ergonomic seat box.
