The competition in the mid-size segment is fierce, especially if we are talking about the premium part of the segment. This is where Audi, BMW and Mercedes make the rules, with the German automakers constantly fighting among themselves for the customer’s attention.
The images you see here might reveal the 2011 Mercedes C-Klasse facelift. AutoBild published the images, shouting in the Internet’s face that it is offering us a glimpse of the revamped German sedan. However, we’re not quite sure that the pics are the real deal.
Moving on, we must tell you that the pictures reveal a completely redesigned front fascia than brings a stronger personality for the saloon. The headlights, which use LED technology for the turn signals seem to be inspired from those of the SL, while the bumper comes with an aggressive design and an interesting layout for the LED daytime running lights. The rear bumper has also receive a light touch in order to match the dynamic styling cues of the front one.
The facelift also targets the interior of the vehicle, bringing a fresh design for the dashboard (this now uses a new instrument panel) and gifting the C-Klasse with a COMMAND display.
Various media reports indicate that the refreshed C-Klasse will make its debut at the North American International Auto Show in January next year. Let’s hope that, one way or another, we’ll be able to offer you more details of the car until then.
