2011 HD Motorcycles at Annual Fundraising Open House

The Harley-Davidson dealership in Cleveland announced it will be offering the opportunity to view and test-drive the new models, including the Sportster 883 Super Low and CVO Road Glide Ultra at their open house event on August 28. Moreover, a new clothing line and several previously-owned bikes will also be in the showroom.

The 2011 SuperLow is a drop-seat version of the company's existing 883 Sportster, featuring a low seat height and new handlebar design. On the other hand, the 2011 CVO Road Glide Ultra is a new super-premium touring motorcycle with a frame-mounted fairing, as well as with exclusive audio, navigation and seating components.

The open house is a fundraising event that benefits and supports a charity dedicated to the families of officers, firefighters and military who have lost their lives or were injured in the line of duty.

"This strategic annual event reflects our focus, efforts and investment to the community of Cleveland, the Harley-Davidson brand and to support a local charity that affects many of our customers who are Cleveland police officers, firefighters, and military," said Stephanie Schmidt, Marketing Manager for Cleveland's Harley-Davidson Sales Company, in a statement for the press.

The open house is a free event for all riders and takes place at HD’s Cleveland location on W. 145th & Lorain Road, with proceeds benefiting the Northeast Ohio Fallen Heroes Fund.

"This partnership with Cleveland's Harley-Davidson creates so much awareness to the organization and the contributions are phenomenal. This event highlights the support and enthusiasm for the dedicated officers, firefighters and military whom risk their lives to make our city a safer place," said Director of Northeast Ohio Fallen Heroes, Detective Steve Loomis.
