2010 Porsche Techart Magnum Revealed

The tuners at Techart have unveiled the T2.2 Magnum package at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, based on the Cayenne Turbo S, which increases the overall engine output to 680 horsepower (500kW) and the maximum torque to 900 Nm at 4,200 rpm.

The engine upgrade allows the car to sprint from naught to sixty in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 308 km/h (191 mph). The tuners also added cylinder head cover left and right in shiny carbon with embossed TECHART logo, engine cover at front in shiny carbon and red lacquer highlights.

According to the data released by the tuner, engine enhancements include Techart, motor controlled electronics, sports air filter, turbocharger, oil and water performance kit, high performance manifold device, sports catalytic converter, exhaust pipe system, pressure pipe, throttle, engine optics package in shiny carbon.

But the Magnum package is not all about increasing performances, as it also comes with improved aerodynamics and styling enhancements. Exterior features include new front apron, fenders and sill panels, rear apron with an integrated diffuser, as well as a stainless steel sports exhaust with two double-flow exhaust pipes.

Moreover, for sporty street use, the TECHART Sport air suspension module lowers the car body by 30 mm. The visual appearance of the car is completed by TECHART Formula and Formula II alloy wheel rims of 21 - 23 inches. Techart also included a multi-functional LED day driving light system that features side lighting, parking lighting and indicator lights as well.

As for the interior modifications, the Sede Classic S line, sports steering wheel, fully integrated entertainment and multi-media systems and the TECHART seat air conditioning system are included in the package.
