2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Refined by Lorinser

The German tuning specialists at Lorinser have recently released details of their new aerodynamic package and power kit for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse facelift model. Visually, the enhancement program comprises newly shaped front bumper, rear skirt, roof spoiler and rear lip, which in combination with discreet side skirts.

Aside from the new look, the vehicle’s power unit has also been improved. Lorinser therefore offers performance boost for the six-, eight- and twelve cylinder S-Klasse power plants.

Thanks to the Lorinser Diesel Module to the S350 CDI, the power plant achieves an additional output of 30 horsepower (22 kW).

For the twelve cylinder top model, the team behind the project prepared a performance package dubbed LV 12 Biturbo, which is consist of ECU remap, modified turbo charging and fuel injection
systems as well as an optimized exhaust unit with sports exhaust.

Thanks to these new modifications, the refined upper class ride now delivers approximately 110 horsepower (81 kW) increase in the output figures compared to the standard version. In addition, the limitation of the top speed has been removed and the car now tops 330 km/h instead of 250 km/h.

Creating the physical and visual connection to the road, Lorinser is offering a wide range of wheel/tire combinations including the 22-inch polished alloys type RS9 for the new S-Klasse facelift model. The wheels have a low weight and mono-block design with five slotted triple spokes. These rims are available in combination with 275/25ZR22 tires at the front and 295/25ZR22 tires at the back axle.
