2010 Mercedes Benz E-Klasse Cabrio Price List Released

Following the official release of the 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Klasse Cabrio in mid-December, German carmaker Mercedes Benz announced today pricing and availability for the last member of the E-Klasse family.

The cabrio will hit dealerships in Europe on March 27, 2010, but orders for the car can be placed starting from today. Prices for the line-up (listed below) range in between 47,719 and 71,519 euros. They include 19 percent VAT and are specific to Germany.

  • E 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (6-speed manual) - 47,719 euros
  • E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (6-speed manual) - 49,861 euros
  • E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (7-speed automatic) - 54,621 euros
  • E 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY (6-speed manual with ECO start/stop function) - 45,815 euros
  • E 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY (5-speed automatic) - 48,016.50 euros
  • E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY (5-speed automatic) - 49,861 euros
  • E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY (7-speed automatic) - 56,882 euros
  • E 500 (7-speed automatic) - 71,519 euros

The E-Klasse cabrio features a roof which can be opened and closed fully automatically within 20 seconds, at speeds of up to 40 km/h. The car's performances, as well as the comfort of those inside, is insured by the use of Mercedes' AIRCAP automatic draught-stop, a new system which is used to reduce turbulence in the interior. According to Mercedes, one can have a phone conversation, in hands-free mode, at speeds of up to 200 km/h.

"With the new Cabriolet, we are rounding off the introduction of the new E-Class with an extra dose of emotion. The innovative AIRCAP and enhanced AIRSCARF systems enable four people to enjoy open-top motoring all year round", Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars said when announcing the price list.
