Buick today announced pricing for the 2010 LaCrosse luxury sedan, with the CX model to be the cheapest version sold for $27,835, including $750 destination charge. The CX comes with several standard features, starting with the 3.0-liter direct injection V6 engine generating 255 horsepower (190 kW) and 217 lb-ft of torque and ending with 17-inch wheels and premium cloth seats. A six-speed automatic transmission is being offered as standard as well.
Furthermore, Buick will release three other models, featuring various equipment levels, as it follows:
There are several other features available, offered either as standard as optional, including real-time damping suspension system, HID with adaptive forward lighting, Side Blind Zone Alert, Bluetooth, rear-seat DVD entertainment system and six airbag.
"The new LaCrosse, with its luxurious interior, premium craftsmanship and personal technologies, represents a strong value in today's changing market," said Susan Docherty, Buick-Pontiac-GMC vice president. "It is the next step in Buick's renaissance that is drawing all-new customers to this revitalized brand."
Production of the 2010 LaCrosse is projected to start this summer at the Fairfax Assembly facility in Kansas City, Kan.
Furthermore, Buick will release three other models, featuring various equipment levels, as it follows:
- CXL FWD, available at $30,395, comes with the 3.0-liter V6 engine plus a six-speed auto transmission, leather heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lamps, outside rearview mirror with LED turn indicators and puddle lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels
- CXL AWD, sold for $32,750, is basically similar with CXL FWD but adds an all-wheel drive system to ensure traction control in every driving conditions
- CXS, priced at $33,765, powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 280 hp (209 kW) and 259 lb-ft of torque, offers perforated, leather heated and cooled seats and 18-inch wheels (19-inch are optional)
