Apart from those Hoosier fat tires at the front, this 1999 Toyota Starlet appears to be the ultimate sleeper. Who would have imagined that a car so common-looking can run a quarter mile in 11 seconds.
The car belongs to a guy named Rick and it looks pretty much stock, until you open the hood and find a 1.5-liter four-pot with a Turbonetics turbo running at 28 psi, a custom exhaust, nitrous system and other goodies, which probably outputs over 400 hp, all going to the front wheels.
Taking place last December, the video shows the Starlet almost reaching a 10-second run at Calder Park Raceway in Australia. Enjoy!
