The gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible you’re about to see below will be auctioned off during Auctions America’s upcoming Fort Lauderdale event next month.
Estimated to fetch between $125,000 and $175,000, the Dusk Blue/Parchment drop top is one of only three L89 Chevelle SS convertibles that came with a factory four-speed manual gearbox and the only one to sport a K1 heavy-duty clutch.
Restored about ten years ago, this L89 is sold with the Protect-O-Plate, warranty booklet, registration cars and the IBM punch card accompanied the car as it rolled off the assembly line. The odometer was reset to zero when restored and it now shows 495 miles.
The vehicle is powered by a 396 cubic inch (6.5-liter) V8 engine with aluminum heads that delivers 375 horsepower to the rear wheels. Additional features include a rosewood steering wheel, bucket seats, power steering, Firestone tires and dual mirrors.
