177 MPH on a Mountain Bike, Anyone?

Here's the first video of the record-breaking run Francois Gissy had in Switzerland at Interlaken.
This footage may not be as spectacular as other which will most likely surface any time now, but again, we're talking about a mountain bike and not a Hayabusa or a liter Ninja!

Francois loaded a proper rocket engine in his modified mountain bike, with help from Exotic Thermal Engineering and this time he was clocked at more than 177 mph. That is, for Europeans, around 285 km/h.

I know this sounds a bit wacko, but it is nevertheless, true: with the crazy thrust the hydrogen peroxide rocket engine delivers, we're most likely looking at the fastest bicycle ever.

Wondering whether the Guinness Book of Records knows about this. Such an amazing endeavor should be coined in the most official and formal ways, I daresay. And once more, it's a damn mountain bike we're referring to!

Congrats, Francois!
