The Cadillac CTS-V is already an impressive piece of machinery in its stock form, but next week's SEMA show will give us one extreme aftermarket incarnation of the vehicle.
We are talking about the Martin V1000 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. Can you guess what the development will bring from its name?

Yes, that's right, Harold Martin Motorsports will bring us a 1,000 hp CTS-V Coupe. The Michigan-based aftermarket developer has hidden a supercharged 7.0-liter V8 inside the car's engine bay, allowing the driver to play with 1,000 hp at 7,100 rpm and 900 lb-ft (1,220 Nm).

The tuner claims that this all-balck Caddy can play the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) game in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of over 200 mph (320 km/h) - we don't know why they were so modest about this figure- while its quarter mile time should sit at 10.9 seconds.

The visual part of the deal is a subtle one, with the only element that could give you away being the 22-inch rims.
