TRIUMPH 3 GT Triple Black Limited Edition (2021-2022) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2019, Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. launched the Triumph Rocked 3, a motorcycle characterized by a 2,458cc engine, much larger than any production motorcycle globally, with much higher torque.

Two years later, in 2021, the manufacturer released two limited edition models, the Rocket 3 R Black, and the touring-oriented Rocked 3 GT Triple Black, which brought more exclusivity to the Rocket 3 range.

The 2021 Triumph Rocket 3 line-up was limited to 1,000 motorcycles each worldwide, and both machines came with a certificate of authenticity that detailed the motorcycle-specific VIN number.

The 2021 Triumph 3 GT Triple Black Limited Edition machine featured a distinctive three-shade black color scheme and was fitted with a premium carbon fiber mudguard as a standard feature.

Also, the bike was fitted with the largest production engine ever served on a motorcycle, with a displacement of 2,458cc, delivering 221 Nm (163 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm and 167 hp with a maximum peak force at 6,000 rpm.

Compared to the Rocket 3 R Black, the 2021 Triumph Rocket 3 GT Triple Black came with a small passenger backrest and three mm smaller width, one mm taller, a 23 mm lower seat height, and three kg (6.6 lbs) heavier.

The bike was available with side-mounted panniers on a Triumph patented cast aluminum mounting system, an interchangeable handlebar, and seats. Also, both models were equipped with four riding modes, Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider, operated by an illuminated switch on the handlebar.
