The 2001 MY DR650SE stands tall in the elite of do-it-all, dual-purpose motorcycles. It is a great commuter, urban machine, thanks to its spirited engine, slender profile and commanding riding stance, but it will also provide the rider with a trustworthy partner once the last patch of asphalt is left behind.
Derived from nimble off-road machinery, the DR650SE is a compact bike powered by a 43 hp 4-stroke single with air and oil cooling, with strong wire spoked rims and adjustable piggyback suspension in the rear and whose seat can be lowered by the dealers by a no-nonsense 40mm helping shorter riders feel more in control.
