SUZUKI DR 350 S (1990-2001) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Suzuki DR 350 was a 350cc single-cylinder motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki from 1990 until 2001, when it was replaced by the Suzuki DR Z400 model. It was a dual-purpose motorcycle more inclined for off-road use.

The Suzuki DR 350 and DR 350 S were fitted with kick starters until 1994 when the maker introduced the Suzuki DR 350 SE, which featured an electric starter. It packed a 350cc single-cylinder OHC engine with the Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACS).

In 1990, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Suzuki DR 350 S, a small and affordable motorcycle perfect for everyday use and challenging ridings on unpaved trails, delivering nothing but fun.

In the visual department, the motorcycle was as simple as it gets, with a small rectangular headlight, a high-mounted front fender, a one-piece dual seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels.

As for suspension, the bike packed a cartridge-type telescopic fork with 13-way compression and 17-way rebound damping adjustability on the front. The rear end was handled by a link-type shock with fully adjustable preload, compression, and rebound damping.

In the performance department, the 1990 Suzuki DR 350 S had installed a 349cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine, boasting 30 hp with a peak force at 7,600 rpm and 29 Nm (21 lb-ft) torque at 6,200 rpm.
