The latest generation engine is compact and very powerful. It is equipped with a Synerject injection system that was specifically developed by Sherco. It is a high-tech system that allows for very precise fuel and air distribution, combining liveliness and escalation.

The Sherco 300 is a Enduro / Offroad biek. this new model sold from 2017. A pioneer in the 4-stroke enduro middleweight class, it can do everything demanded of it. From the casual rider to the professional racer it is an effective tool.

Straight off the bat it’s clear Sherco have a different look for 2017. Both four-stroke and two-stroke models feature a distinctive new bodywork design. Strengthened and reinforced, the dual compound plastics feature in-mold graphics with Sherco’s mix of bright blue and day-glo yellow colour scheme.

It has been nearly ten years since the Sherco 250 4-stroke was first introduced into the market to compete at the highest level in the World Enduro Championship. The changes for 2016 are directly derived from the official machinery involved in Grand Prix racing. The Synerject small block injection system has built its reputation on its ability to produce power at high rpm’s and smoothness in the midrange.

The chassis is a perfect compromise between maneuverability and directional stability. GP racing has allowed the chassis to be highly refined so that it better fits the constraints of modern enduro racing. It is precise and responds to the slightest touch of the rider while attacking the most difficult terrain without flinching.

The new 450 is an impressive machine in the flesh. The first thing that strikes you is the small size of the engine. The team worked extensively on building the smallest, most efficient engine they could. The engine is DOHC, but the head is kept compact by using a single gear for the cam chain. A lot of time was put into the design of the oil pathway to help give the motor longevity too.

The Sherco 300 SEF-R will be a favourite amongst racers and trail riders because the bike is just so damn easy to ride. The 300 SEF-R handles like its on rails and the more you twist the throttle, the more you keep smiling. In general the 300 SEF-R is known for being a standout performer in the fast, tight single-trails. Sherco has designed the bike around a chrome molybdenum steel semi-perimeter frame, keeping the centre of gravity low and central.

For 2016 the design of the front mudguard now makes use of two screws that bolt onto the front part of the lower triple clamp. Overall the new mudguard is more rigid and offers extra stability in high speeds. The dual-compound hand guards as standard are a nice touch and give added protection to both the upper and lower part of your hands.

For 2016 Sherco have moved away from the Sachs fork and are now using WP front and rear suspension.

Introduced into the Sherco lineup in 2015, the 450 is the latest in a line of enduro machines specifically designed for enduro riders. The semi-perimeter frame, as is the case throughout the range, is a welded configuration made from chrome molybdenum steel.
