HONDA NM4 (2016-2016) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2016, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Honda NM4, a futuristic motorcycle designed in a lightweight, compact package with great fuel efficiency powered by an engine that incorporated numerously advanced and patented technologies.

The bike was equipped with an automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) that featured two driving modes, such as Drive (D) and Sport (S) but also a manual mode with trigger-style shifting that offered fast gear changes with minimal interruption.

The digital instrument cluster had a color for every driving mode, such as grey in Neutral (N), light blue in Drive (D), vibrant pink in Sport (S), and aggressive red in Manual (M), while other 25 individual colors offered more personalization to the dashboard.

In addition, the bike featured a low seating position, a large storage compartment with a 12-volt socket, a backrest that was also a passenger seat, and both front and rear integrated LED lights that offered great visibility and a dramatic appearance.

The model packed a lightweight diamond-shaped steel tube frame designed for enough flexibility on different road surfaces and a lightweight aluminum swingarm that improved suspension reaction and control.

In the performance department, the 2016 Honda NM4 was brought to life by a 745cc four-stroke parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 54 hp at 6,250 rpm and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) of torque available at 4,750 rpm.
