The Honda Valkyrie was first introduced in 1997 as the GL1500C in the US market and as the F6C (Flat Six Custom) in other markets. The bike continued production until 2003 and was powered by a 1,520cc also shared with the Gold Wing model.

In 2013, the Valkyrie was reintroduced to the market as a 2014 model and a redesign of the GL1800 Gold Wing. Also known as the F6C, the bike shared the same engine, frame, and transmission as the Honda Gold Wing.

However, for the 2014 model, the Valkyrie was introduced without the fairing, windscreen, and saddlebags, which became optional equipment, as well as the ABS braking system that didn't come as standard. Also, the bike packed an all-digital multi-instrument panel.

For suspension, the bike was fitted with a 45 mm cartridge-type fork on the front and a single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm with a Pro-Link shock absorber and hydraulic spring preload adjustability on the rear.

The bike featured a 10-spoke cast aluminum wheel fitted with two 310 mm discs and hydraulic calipers on the front end. At the same time, it packed a smaller 10-spoke cast aluminum wheel on the rear with a 316 mm disc and a hydraulic caliper for optimum braking performance.

With 118 hp on tap available at 5,500 rpm and 167 Nm (121 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm coming from the 1,832cc liquid-cooled six-cylinder engine, the 2014 Honda GL1800C Valkyrie was a powerful touring machine that provided smooth and precise performance.

Also, the powerful bike featured a stylish design and a combination of performance with comfort and convenience, resulting in a popular choice among motorcycle enthusiasts.
