DUCATI ST3S ABS (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Ducati ST series was a range of sport-touring motorcycles manufactured by Ducati from 1997 to 2007. The family comprised five models with similar appearances but different engines. The first model in the range was the Ducati ST2, launched in 1997 to compete with other sport-tourers like the Honda VFR.

In 2006, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Ducati ST3S ABS, a sport-touring machine that replaced the Ducati ST4S, retaining its suspension components and the ST3 model's engine without any modifications.

As its name suggests, the 2007 Ducati ST3S ABS was fitted with an additional safety feature in the form of an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) that enhanced its overall capabilities and the risk of tipping the bike under various road conditions.

Visually, the bike was similar to its siblings, packing a full fairing with an adjustable windscreen, a single-piece dual seat with a passenger grab rail, a dual exhaust system with a muffler on each side, and five-spoke lightweight alloy wheels.

The 2007 Ducati ST3S ABS had its muscles from a 944 cc four-stroke three-valve V-twin liquid-cooled engine managed by a fuel injection system, delivering an output power of 83 hp with a peak at 8,500 rpm and 84 Nm (62 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

The braking power was achieved by two 320 mm discs with four-piston calipers mounted on the front end, while the rear end was operated by a 245 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper, delivering reliable stopping power.
