In 2023, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer announced the new Ducati DesertX Rally, an off-road machine dedicated to those riders who crave challenging journeys and rallies. The bike is set to hit American dealerships in March 2024 at an MSRP of $23,000.

The Ducati DesertX was first introduced as a prototype at the 2019 EICMA Show, and after two years of development in 2021, it made its debut, being released into the market in May 2022.

The 2024 machine has modern technology as standard equipment, such as an adjustable Ohlins steering damper mounted on the handlebar, six customizable riding modes, including Sport, Urban, Touring, Wet, Enduro, and Rally, and four power modes.

In addition, the bike packs three-level adjustable Cornering Bosh ABS, eight level-adjustable Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), and Ducati Cruise Control (DCT).

Other standard equipment included a utility bar, up-and-down Ducat Quick Shift (DQS), a complete LED lighting system, adjustable brake and gear levers, a TFT instrument panel supporting the Ducati Link App, and a turn-by-turn navigation system.

At its core, the 2024 Ducati DesertX Rally packs a 937cc four-stroke L-twin cylinder liquid-cooled engine fed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering 110 hp with a peak force at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm (68 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.
