Stefan Ytterborn, an acknowledged entrepreneur in strategy, design, and branding, founded CAKE in 2016. All he wanted was to create motorcycles with zero-emissions, and simple, “light, quiet and clean” design. In January 2018, the first model, named Kalk, made its way into the world. Kalk is now available in the street legal version and off-road models.

The second model of the company, Osa, was launched in 2019, and thanks to its off-road capabilities and multifaceted utility platform it quickly became a favorite for both professionals and regular people looking for a two-wheeler to enjoy. A cool feature is the onboard powerful battery that can be used as an external power station.

In November 2020, CAKE expanded into the racing segment with the newly launched electric motorcycles, Kalk OR Race, and Kalk INK Race models. Thanks to the low weight and powerful rear wheel torque, these electric motorcycles can be the ultimate racing bikes when in the right hands. Both bikes have a +90 kph (+ 56 mph) top speed, and a time range of up to 3 hours.

The Makka is the latest chapter of CAKE history. Launched in September 2021, this moped was designed with the modern urban commuter in mind, and it can easily take people to work in style or through an outback adventure. No less than four models are available, ranging in price from 4,190 euros to 5,690 euros (about the same value in dollars in September 2022).
