The Bajaj Wind 125 was a standard motorcycle designed and manufactured by Bajaj Auto for middle-class Indian urban riders. For the Philipines, the bike was designed for the tricycle and delivery business.

The bike was Kawasaki's entry into Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. In these countries, entry-level bikes were powered by a 125cc engine, not a 100cc like in India. After its discontinuation, the same design was used on the 2006 Platina model.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as a single headlight unit integrated into a small cowl, a small windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with a pillion grab handle, two side-mounted rear shocks, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and wire-spoke wheels.

The bike's suspension system comprised a telescopic fork on the front with anti-stiction bushes, providing 135 mm of travel, and two five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers on the rear, offering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

The braking power was handled by a 240 mm brake disc with a dual-piston caliper on the front wheel and a single 130 mm drum braking unit, offering optimum stopping performance.

The 2005 Bajaj Wind 125 had its soul brought to life by a 124cc four-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 11 hp at 8,500 rpm and 10 Nm (7 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
