BAJAJ CT100B (2016-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Bajaj CT100 was a standard commuter motorcycle built by Bajaj Auto as an entry-level machine. The bike was made in 2004 to replace the Bajaj Boxer model and was manufactured until 2006 as the first generation. The second generation was produced from 2015 until 2019 when it was replaced by the Bajaj Platina model.

In 2015, the maker revised the Bajaj CT100 model, packing the same body styling but with new graphics, alloy wheels, and an upgraded engine that complied with BS3 emission standards. It was available with self-start and came in six color schemes.

In 2016, the Indian motorcycle maker released the Bajaj CT100B, a small displacement motorcycle that came with Spring in Spring suspension (SNS), offering outstanding ability to comfortably handle rough roads.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as a round headlight with instruments mounted on top, a one-piece dual seat with a passenger grab handle, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and wire-spoke wheels.

The bike was built around a steel frame with a hydraulic telescopic fork on the front and a single shock absorber mounted on the rear, providing optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the power figures, the 2016 Bajaj CT100B had its soul brought to life by a 99cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine, boasting 8 hp with a peak force at 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm (6 lb-ft) torque at 4,500 rpm.
