With only weeks until the production version of the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz Concept S-Class Coupe is officially unveiled, there is still a good deal of testing to be done on pre-production prototypes, at least looking at the following spy photos.
The Stuttgart engineers are still hard at work cold-testing the model in Norther Sweden, with our spy photographers catching what appears to be an S 500 Coupe with the AMG bodykit.
The odd bit is that the spied model isn't sporting all-wheel drive, despite previous reports saying that 4Matic will be used by the S-Class Coupe as well, including the 63 AMG version.
Engines-wise, we should expect an S 400 Coupe with a version of the new twin-turbocharged three-liter V6, an S 500 Coupe with a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 and the S 600 Coupe with a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12.
Later on, an S 400 Hybrid and the S 63 AMG and S 65 AMG coupe will also be launched, with a convertible version of the model to arrive in 2015.
