After the recent Toyota Etios’ launch in India and price increase due to rupee depreciation, let’s have a look at what Brazil will get soon.
As seen in the spyshots bellow, Brazil will get “hardcore” version of the hatchback Etios. The pseudo-crossover will be known as the Toyota Etios Cross, which will rival the VW Golf Rallye, Hyundai HB20X and Renault Sandero Stepway.
The Cross model will feature plastic moldings on its sides and wheel arches, scuff plates front and back, auxiliary lamps, roof rails ad diamond-finished alloy wheels. Mechanically, the vehicle will be the same, power being provided by the same 1.5-liter engine producing 96.5 bhp.
The Toyota Etios Cross may be also introduced on the Indian market, where it may be named the Etios Liva Cross, due to the differentiation between the hatch and sedan models.
